Low Mercury CFL's - Neolite™, contain only 1 milligram of mercury.
If you don't already know it the amount of mercury in most all cfl's is 4mg. You may find a few newer style cfl's with 2.5 - 3 milligrams. The Neolite lamps have only 1mg of mercury and use lead free glass and solder. It also comply's with ROHS - the European Rules On Hazardous Substances.
This makes these low mercury cfl's safer for the environment when it is disposed at the end of life. In addition to the environmentally friendly features it uses up to 75% less energy than incandescent lamps.
The Neolite low mercury cfl is an Energy Star qualified lamp with a 10,000 hour life and an average of up to 70 lumens per watt.
The low mercury cfl's - Neolite, comes in the following wattages, 10, 13, 15, 20, 23 and are available in the following Kelvin Temps. 2700°K, 4100°K, and 5000°K. The 5000°K lamps are fullspectrum lamps and will provide crisp color balanced light.
