The Micro-Brite lamp delivers superior quality performance, rated to last from 18,000 to 25,000 hours, or up to 10 times longer than standard incandescent lamps and up to 5 times longer than long life incandescent lamps. These CCFL lamps were designed to replace long life incandescent lamps up to 65 w. This means the user can save up to 90% of the energy consumed. Micro-Brite lamps are virtually the same size and shape as the incandescent lamps they were designed to replace and can be used in any application where a standard incandescents currently being used. This makes them ideal to use in any hard to reach area where labor and energy savings are important.

Unlike No Other, the CCFL is Completely Dimmable without Sacrificing Life! The 5W or 8W versions are high power factor and are dimmable on normal wall dimmers.

They also work on normal nighttime Sign Phase Shift dimming systems and Pulse Wave Modulation control systems. These lamps start in micro-seconds so they can be used in message centers without trailing or blurring of the message.

Unlike other CFL's these CCFL lamps are based on Cold Cathode technology and lamp life is not shortened when dimmed. The Micro-Brite lamps are useable both indoors and outdoors, and operate in temperatures ranging from -20° F to 160° F, making them the most rugged compact fluorescent lamp on the market.
